You do have a life purpose. You’re in some stage of realizing it. It turns out that your life purpose is a bigger dream for yourself and the world.

As you tap into your gifts and passions, you grow clearer on what you’re here to do, what you’re here to accomplish.

BE HERE NOW

In the meantime, it’s all fulfilled in the present moment. The eternal now is where it must unfold.

We can’t forget to be here now, or we we’ll be rushing forward frenetically trying to fulfill our bigger purpose without appreciating what’s happening in the moment. Remember it is a journey, no matter how important the destination.

In Part 1 of “When Things Don’t Work Out,” we discussed how to reframe setbacks you experience. It can be a learning opportunity, a time to be patient, a matter of timing, and a need for detachment.

In this post, let’s see what happens when you misinterpret what’s happening to you.

MISINTERPRETING RESULTS

Sometimes we see things not working out as a “sign” to give up. It’s certainly possible that we are off track and getting some corrective feedback.

On the other hand, maybe there is another message in things not working out. For example, we know holistic practitioners who try a few things (learn some techniques and study some marketing) and then throw up their hands and say, “It doesn’t work – people don’t want what I have to offer.”
