Do you have Misguidance Syndrome?

We’ve noticed a pattern with many people - even spiritually minded ones - that we call “misguidance syndrome.” It has to do with disconnecting from your guidance, in spite of its attempts to reach you.

A quick example:  A person says she doesn’t know what her purpose is, what she’s here to do primarily with her life.

When asked what she would do if there were no limitations of time and money, she says, “heal people.” She has studied and practiced healing methods, including developing her own process, for many years. Yet she’s still perplexed on what her guidance is showing her to do.

Duh?… Yes, many bright and progressive people miss the obvious. It’s a kind of a denial and disconnect. The soul-connected part of the identity shows you in words, images and synchronicities.

Yet another part of your personality, the mainstream and mass-consciousness based part, wonders how it can step out and do something meaningful and enjoyable.

UNCOVERING THE PROBLEM: WHAT IS A ”SYNDROME”?

To help understand this common problem, let’s examine the meaning of “syndrome.” In medicine and psychology, a syndrome clusters several signs or symptoms.

Syndrome is derived from the Greek root meaning “running together.”What “runs together” in misguidance syndrome?

Well your soul’s guidance gives you the big picture of what is important in your life. Clarifying your big picture and your next step affects all key areas, such as health, career and relationships.

And if you can’t hear the whispers from your soul, you then have to hear the shouts. Ignoring your guidance causes a lot of discomfort in many areas of your life. Whereas following your guidance puts you in alignment with your purpose.

So if you don’t follow the callings of your soul in practicing healing – or whatever moves YOU - then you become frustrated and stuck.

REASONS FOR MISGUIDANCE SYNDROME

  • You have a problem staying focused.
  • You let old hurts and grievances remain unaddressed and try to cover them over – with busyness, bad habits, and justifications.
  • You’re unclear about your goals and dreams and have not written them down – or followed through with them.
  • You are waiting for the perfect time to act or change.
  • You go it alone, and don’t seek reliable support.

Of course any of us are subject to the above list at times.  It’s a matter of how many of the above descriptions apply to you and how how intense is the “misguiding” condition. Clustered together. these aspects create a misguidance syndrome.

  • Connect with your soul regularly. We have many materials that can help you practically with soul connecting.
  • Set goals and dreams in writing.
  • Watch for synchronicities. Observe what feedback life is giving you daily. When you’re on track, following your guidance, you enter the synchronous flow.
