Accessing your inner inner guidance is essential for spiritual growth. Otherwise, you’re limited to following external authorities. We recommend soul centering and there are many other meditative tools available.
We’ve noticed, though, some common dis-connects with people. One disconnect has to do with people disbelieving the guidance that they do actually receive (see misguidance syndrome post).
In this post, we’ll look at another problem. We’re referring to what happens after you receive your guidance.

TAKING ACTION AFTER RECEIVING GUIDANCE
Why then don’t we take action after receiving valuable inner guidance? Let’s use marketing your business as an example, a subject close to our heart.
Your inner guidance can give powerful soul messages on what things mean and what to do. It can confirm your hunches. Your guidance can connect with your life purpose, which affects everything you experience.
Let’s say you receive an inner message such as “This area would be good to pursue. It would be fulfilling and joyous.”
The next step is to translate that guidance into action.
Yes there is a law of attraction at work. But that attraction does not mean you are just a passive receiver, who just waits for success to happen to you.
To continue our example, if you want to succeed with your business, you need to learn and implement marketing skills. Your guidance doesn’t teach you the skills; your actions do.
To get a sense of how guidance relates to taking action, here’s a chart for your reference:
- Inner Guidance:
- inner resources (images, messages, feelings)
- feelings and thoughts
- inner support (higher self, guides, angels, archetypes)
- provides clear vision and ideas and confirmation
- Outer actions:
- outer resources (experts, research, technology)
- actions (learning and implementing skills, goalsetting, strategies)
- outer support (support groups, strategic alliances)
- feedback from actions (results such as productivity)
FINAL THOUGHTS
For succeeding in business or life, it’s really essential to get both internal guidance and take external action. Combining the inner and outer will optimize your life purpose and your success.
You’ll then be inspired and motivated to overcome challenges. Your guidance will uplift you and confirm your inner knowing.
Taking action will provide valuable feedback and lead to powerful results in the 3-D world and physical plane. Guidance and taking action, it’s a marriage of heaven and earth.
