Have you ever wondered how you can be present while still planning for the future? Let’s explore how you can be more present, which includes incorporating a wonderful future. Plus we’ll look at how you can use the past to be more present as well.
Living in the present is really the only place you can fully be. Yes the past and future affect your present moment.
Both past and future can contribute to the present. Like a library, the past can be a resource to refer to and learn from.
The future is where your vision unfolds. It’s where your goals can be fulfilled. The past can educate us and the future can inspire us.
Of course if you compare everything to what happened in the past, forget about being present. And if you focus only on future success, the moment will also pass you by.
EMBRACING LIFE’S PARADOX
Part of this journey involves clearing blocks from the past. Then you can use your new clarity to create a great future, aligned with your purpose.
For example, if you failed at a business before, find any negative mindsets you hold. Clear them with EFT or another method. Then establish a goal, aligned with your soul and purpose. With intent, it’s not as hard as it may sound.
When you start to realize you have a purpose, you can get excited about your future and what’s going on now, and where it’s taking you. Take a moment now to conjure up your brightest possible future before you… Notice how you energy perks up… that helps you be more alive and live in this present moment.
Being in the present doesn’t mean you don’t have plans. Plan and then act in the present moment. Do what you can and trust the universe will support you.
BEST PRACTICES
To live fully, avoid time wasters and unnecessary obligations. Beware of momentums and habits that don’t serve you. How often are you on autopilot when you watch TV or some other activity?
At the same time, get in your life’s flow. Follow your heart and soul. You can’t hold onto to the flow; instead let yourself be in it.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
Embrace life’s paradox. The moment holds the past and future in our present.
So make plans, set goals, test out strategies. While it helps to “keep your eyes on the prize” (your goals), remember to make the most of each moment, where all the magic and meaning lies.
Appreciate the little things in the moment, the synchronicities and beauties of the moment.
You can help so many and make your contribution if you follow your heart. And you’ll really being help yourself out, now and the exciting future, that brightest possible future, that calls you forward. And what a great life you will create!
